Review:Balmoral Divan Bed
The Balmoral Divan bed is part of the Airpsrung gently supportive range, this bed has been manufactured with a Duraspring spring system designed for people who prefer a slightly softer feel when sleeping.
The spring system uses a 13.5 gauge wire which is slightly thinner than normal open coil spring. This allows for more give in the spring and ultimately a softer feel when lying on the bed.
The bed offers a clean, modern look with a cream checkered base and a plain cream mattress. The mattress has a microquilted finish which creates a fairly flat sleeping surface which is comfortable the only drawback is the amount of fillings used can be limited.
Storage options are available on this bed with standard and continental 2 and 4 drawer choices on models 4FT upwards.
The Balmoral does offer good value for money. A standard non drawer 4FT 6 Double will retail for around £200 with drawer options starting from £40 per set.
My overall opinion of this bed was a good recommendation if you prefer a softer feel bed and you are on a budget. The bed is well made and will stand the test of time, a good addition to the Airsprung range.
